Sunnah Days for Hijama: The 17th, 19th and 21st
Hijama Mauritius Team 23 August 2026

In the Islamic tradition, the 17th, 19th and 21st days of the lunar (Hijri) month are reported as recommended times for hijama. Many clients in Mauritius like to align their monthly session with these dates.
Because the Hijri calendar follows the moon, these dates shift by roughly eleven days each year against the regular calendar. The simplest approach is to check a Hijri calendar app at the start of each month and note when the 17th, 19th and 21st fall.
Popular Sunnah dates book up quickly. If your practitioner uses structured slot requests, reserve your slot as soon as the new month begins. If they take WhatsApp bookings, message a few days ahead and mention you are aiming for a Sunnah date.
A gentle reminder: these dates are a recommendation, not a requirement. If you are unwell or in need of cupping, do not delay treatment waiting for a specific date. The best day for hijama is the day that keeps you consistent and healthy.
Hijama is a complementary therapy and not a replacement for medical care. Always consult your doctor about existing conditions before booking a session.
