1. What Hijama Mauritius is

Hijama Mauritius (“Hijama.mu”, “the platform”) is an online directory and booking-facilitation service that connects clients with independent hijama cupping practitioners in Mauritius. We do not provide medical or therapeutic services ourselves, and we are not a party to any treatment agreement between you and a practitioner.

2. Using the platform

You may browse the directory, read articles and resources, and submit booking requests, reviews and contact messages. You agree to provide accurate information, to use the platform only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse practitioners’ contact details published here.

Consent forms submitted during booking must be completed honestly — practitioners rely on them to keep sessions safe.

3. Practitioner listings

Practitioners are independent providers. We review listings before publication, but we do not guarantee any treatment outcome and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of listed practitioners. Fees, session policies and aftercare instructions are set by each practitioner.

Featured placements highlight practitioners who opted in to additional visibility; they do not constitute a medical endorsement.

4. Bookings and cancellations

A booking request creates an appointment record shared with the chosen practitioner. Confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations may be handled over WhatsApp or in the platform. If you cannot attend, cancel as early as possible out of respect for the practitioner’s time.

5. Reviews and content

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may be moderated or removed at our discretion. Articles, guides and videos on the platform are for general education only and may not be republished without permission.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by Mauritian law, Hijama Mauritius is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from treatments, from reliance on educational content, or from interactions between clients and practitioners arranged through the platform. See our medical disclaimer for details.
